Maurice Urrutia

Maurice Urrutia is the founder and CEO of MPower6 Gym, a premier destination for elite fitness and performance training in Louisville. A former Division I football player at the University of Louisville—where he studied Communications and Exercise Science—Maurice brings over 12 years of experience transforming lives through an integrated, holistic approach to performance. 

He holds advanced credentials including NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and DBC Level 1 in the Biomechanics of Human Movement. As Director of Performance Training, Maurice has worked with elite high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, as well as many of Louisville’s prominent social figures and business leaders.

 Beyond the gym, Maurice is a leader with passions rooted in philosophy, self-development, and spiritual growth. An avid reader and man of God, he believes that peak performance begins with alignment of the mind, body, and spirit—and that when one is out of sync, the others inevitably follow. Maurice’s mission is simple: to empower individuals to unlock their full potential and lead lives of purpose, power, and performance.

Brooke Vernon

Born and raised in the Bluegrass state, Brooke has been a lifelong athlete, participating in various competitive sports, including qualifying and running the Boston Marathon a total of seven times. She was among the first lululemon ambassadors in Louisville, representing the running community. Fitness and wellness is an integral part of her life. She obtained her Certified Personal Trainer certification through NASM in 2010, along with a Fitness Nutrition Specialist Certification, and has worked with clients looking to promote healthier lifestyles. She is also certified as a TRX Functional Specialist, Running Coach through RRCA, NASM Behavior Change Specialist. She has been a client of Mpower6 since its infancy and became a trainer because she stands behind what Mpower6 embodies, and wants to help continue building it.

Brooke stays busy, as she is also a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiology and advanced life saving measures, and trains competitively in the sport of Bodybuilding. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and 2 fur babies, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Marell Booker

Marell was born and raised in Louisville, KY. He has a degree in Exercise Science and is certified in Biomechanics. He played football at Western Kentucky from 2006-2010 and professionally for a year after that. Marell has accumulated over 12 years of personal training experience with both fitness clients and athletes.

There is no better feeling than helping someone reach their fitness goals or pushing athletes to improve in their abilities. My mission is to be the best version of myself while pushing all of my clients and MPower6 members to do the same”.

Chelsea Crichlow

Chelsea is a weight loss/body recomposition coach with specializations in strength training. She has been working with clients both in person and online since 2015 with her certification as an ISSA-CPT. Chelsea grew up in upstate New York and was involved in sports year round including soccer, volleyball, basketball and softball; but found her passion for fitness starting in college at the University of South Florida where she competed as a bodybuilding athlete. After struggling to find a healthy balance after competing, she has now built her coaching business to help women love BOTH how they look and how they feel, without having to go to extremes; develop the mental skills and lifestyle habits to create a life they adore, and come back to the athlete within. Outside of work, Chelsea loves to travel, shuffle dance, snowboard, and spend time with her family and friends.

Brendan Pineda

Brendan Pineda is one of MPower6’s performance coaches working across a large myriad of different athletes along a spectrum of different skill levels. A corrective-exercise specialist, performance-enhancement specialist, and certified personal trainer, Brendan practices many different training types and modalities tailored for athletes and general fitness. Preserving and enhancing quality of life, wellness, and performance for individual and group development to succeed at the highest level.

He was born in Palo Alto, California and grew up in San Jose, competing and coaching along a spectrum of various sports like volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball and street gymnastics at the club and high school level. Brendan has worked with coaches and programs at the high school, club, and Junior USA levels involved with program development and coach/athlete education. After hours, he enjoys cooking, traveling, and being in the outdoors.

Raegan DeMuesy

Raegan was born in Canton, OH and raised in Louisville, KY. She grew up playing multiple sports such as basketball, swim, cross county, track and field, and soccer throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Raegan is a certified Personal Trainer through NASM and has also obtained her CPR certification through them as well. She currently attends UofL to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Raegan’s love for fitness all started when her aunt introduced her to strength training. She has a passion for strength training and women’s weight loss to help women feel stronger and overall bring back that confidence they once had. Raegan has 2 years of experience in group fitness training. She is very involved in her church, loves a coffee or shopping date, and a good workout.

Tristan Hicks

Tristan was born in Fort Wayne, IN but raised in Louisville, KY. He attended the J. Graham Brown School where he played basketball all 4 years. He also played college basketball for Lincoln Memorial University for 2 years where he studied Kinesiology. After college Tristan found a passion for fitness and began training clients that were inspired by his fitness journey. Now as a NASM-PES trainer he specializes in performance enhancement where he helps young athletes through sports specific training, force production, and overall increased athleticism.

“Like Muhammad Ali said, "our rent on earth is the service we give back to others." I'm truly inspired by the youth as they are the future. From my experience within sports, fitness, and education, I'm here to give back and make an impact. That's what it's all about!"

Myah Rice

Myah is a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through NASM. She was born in Shelbyville, KY and has been a competitive athlete from a young age. Myah dedicated her talents to cheerleading and honed in on her athletic abilities which culminated into her cheering at the University of Louisville where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. While at UofL, Myah got the chance to begin coaching and found her true passion in making people better athletes and seeing the results of their hard work. She tells her athletes that "pressure is a privilege" because it means that something is expected of you. Myah lives by this mantra and strives to be the best version of herself every day. She enjoys baking and watching sports in her free time and enjoys making people feel better overall by improving their health both mentally and physically.

Aurelio Puga

Aurelio is a Performance Coach originally from San Diego, California who specializes in Return to Sport Rehabilitation and Sports Data Analytics. He has earned his NSCA CSCS and is a Board Certified Athletic Trainer with over 6 years of on field experience. Most notably working as a Sports Medicine provider for UofL Athletics and Louisville City F.C. He is also certified in recovery techniques such as Dry Needling, Cupping and various taping techniques. Aurelio’s passion is seeing athletes and active population thrive and being able to guide them to the right answers and to the right providers in order to give them the best chance at a long sporting career and a healthy active lifestyle. 

Aurelio is currently working in conjunction with Aptiva Health and MPower6 to provide performance training and recovery services to the active population they serve. He is currently working towards his NSCA Certified Performance and Sports Scientist Certification in order to provide a deeper level of care to the M6 and Aptiva Health community.

Naomi Orrick

Naomi is a “do it all” fitness devotee who has been cross-training since she was in middle school. She has taught boxing, yoga, and indoor cycling and has significant experience in weight lifting and high intensity interval training. Certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine , Naomi is dedicated to constantly refreshing her knowledge in order to grow and better herself and her training methods. Her love for cooking healthy meals has fueled her pursuit of nutrition training through NASM; she views each person holistically and loves when she can help anyone find a way of exercising and eating that boosts them closer to their fitness goals. 

 Sharing the love for health and wellness with her sisters and parents, her ideal weekend involves crushing a new PR in the gym and then cooking a meal for the whole family to gather around. Combining mind, body, and soul wellness fuels her pursuit of her goals and her dedication in pushing her friends to reach their goals too. Naomi’s love for helping other people to feel their best in and out of the gym is why she chose to train at MPower where the training doesn’t stop when you walk out the door and the trainers really care about the people they get to train.

Saadiq Woodson

Born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Saadiq Woodson has 5 years of experience training boxers, MMA fighters, dancers, and gymnasts. He has a NASM-CES and PES which is suited for many fitness populations from high level athletes to those looking to improve their overall general health. Saadiq grew up playing football and basketball which began shaping his early love for exercise. He has trained MMA and boxing champions as well as Olympic medalists creating a strong understanding of the psychology behind what it takes to maximize an athlete’s potential. Outside of the gym, Saadiq is a die hard Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys long hikes.
